These appointments can be booked at your convenience and will be in complete confidence. The surgery offers late evening appointments (bookable) on Tuesday and Thursday.

Maternity Services – are provided by all the doctors with the help of the Community Midwife

Contraceptive services – are provided by all the doctors, and one of us (Dr. Negrine) fits coils and implants. In addition, the practice nurse will give contraceptive advice.

There is also a local comprehensive sexual health service at

Child Health & Immunisation – a child health clinic is held weekly on a Tuesday, run by our Health Visitor and a doctor. Child immunisations also take place in a weekly clinic. Due to strict national rules for "parental responsibility " and consent, a letter of authority & consent will be needed if a child is brought in for imms by someone other than a parent.

Travel health clinic – CURRENTLY SUSPENDED DUE TO ONGOING STAFFING ISSUES -  we provide a full range of travel immunisation  but not Yellow Fever vaccination. Please book through reception for a full package of travel health advice for you and your family.  Please note that Travel Health is NOT an NHS service and at times there can be delays in getting appointments.  In view of this it is important to ask for advice / immunisations well in advance of your travel.

Diabetic clinics – are held by all doctors on a regular basis

Minor Surgery – is performed in a weekly clinic. These appointments can only be arranged after seeing a doctor.

Nurse Clinics

Our practice nurses run clinics by appointment for

  • dressings
  • vaccinations
  • cervical smears
  • contraceptive advice
  • asthma/COPD - and all other long term conditions
  • and many other services.

All are involved in health promotion, blood pressure monitoring and well- person checks. Appointments for the nurse can be made through reception.
