 Welcome to Castlecroft Medical Practice

You are currently not allowed to walk into the surgery building unless you have been triaged and asked to attend by one of our medical team.
The practice is however fully open and accessible initially via telephone.  You can use our online services for ordering medication and for getting medical information.  It is not possible to book appointments online at the moment as you have to be telephone triaged first.
Please do not book a GP appointment or attend your GP Practice if you have symptoms associated with coronavirus including a new continuous cough, a high temperature or loss of taste and smell. You are advised to stay at home for at least 7 days.
If your symptoms are serious, or gets worse, NHS 111 has an online coronavirus service that can tell you if you need further medical help and advise you what to do.
Only call 111 direct if you cannot go online, or are advised to do so by the online service. For the latest advice please visit

With Coronavirus now in our communities, keeping our services running is our top priority.
Our GPs are asking that you go online for health information(via GP practice website) or telephone the practice,
Please don’t just turn up as you will be told to go home and telephone.
All appointments will be triaged in advance and you may need to
answer a few more questions than normal so that we can get you the help that you need.

If you need urgent medical assistance when the surgery is closed please call 111 who will advise you accordingly.

Our telephone team are instructed by the GPs to ask you for the nature of your problem to establish who best to book you with or to re-direct you.  This is to make best use of the services & appointments that we have available and not to be deliberately obstructive.  It is part of a National Programme called Care Navigation - click here for more information.

For minor ailments please see your local pharmacy.

For Dental Problems please see a dentist.
