Telephone callselderly_patient-with_nurse

The telephone will be answered as promptly as possible. If the surgery is closed, you will be connected to an answering-machine which will give you further information. You will be able to speak to a doctor or nurse within two telephone calls.

You can help by understanding that our telephone lines are often busy at certain times of the day, particularly between 9.00am and 10.00am and 4.00pm and 5.00pm. Please try to keep your call brief.

The doctor or nurse will offer appropriate medical care as needed. You will be given a clear explanation of your proposed treatment, including any risks and options available. You will be referred to a specialist when this is felt necessary and with your agreement.
